What Makes This Guide Unique?

The Dancer's Way stands apart from general wellness guides because it is crafted by artists and experts who understand the demanding world of ballet. Co-authored by the New York City Ballet and psychologist Dr. Linda H. Hamilton, this book combines decades of performance experience with evidence-based sports psychology. Canadian dancers will appreciate the practical tools that are just as relevant in Toronto studios as they are in New York.

Each chapter includes real-life examples, self-assessment checklists, and sample training schedules that can be adapted to individual needs. The book also ventures into topics often neglected, such as managing body image pressures in the dance world and optimizing sleep for recovery.
